Best uses
Best general-purpose damage enchantment for swords; use it when fighting a wide variety of mobs rather than specializing against undead or arthropods. Can also be applied to axes via anvil and enchanted book.
How to get Sharpness
Enchanting table (swords directly; axes require an anvil with an enchanted book for Sharpness V on most materials). Also obtainable from villager trades (weaponsmith/librarian) and dungeon/stronghold/bastion loot chests.
