Curse of Vanishing
Causes the cursed item to disappear permanently when the player dies, instead of dropping on the ground. The item is completely destroyed on death and cannot be recovered.

Best uses
Useful in PvP servers to prevent enemies from looting your gear after a kill. Conversely, keep a Totem of Undying handy if you accidentally acquire a cursed valuable item — dying will destroy it forever. The curse can be removed via a grindstone, which strips all enchantments.
How to get Curse of Vanishing
Treasure enchantment only — found in loot chests across many structures, fishing as treasure, or librarian villager trades; applied via enchanted book at an anvil. Cannot be obtained from an enchanting table.
