Sheep are passive mobs that spawn in a variety of natural wool colors including white, grey, black, brown, and rare pink. They are the primary source of wool for crafting beds and decorative blocks. Shearing is more efficient than killing, as it yields more wool and can be repeated.

Grass-covered Overworld biomes at light level 7+, in groups of 2–3; common in plains, forests, and mountains
Behavior
Wanders and eats grass, restoring their wool after being sheared. Flees when attacked. Bred with wheat. Shearing yields 1–3 wool without harming the sheep.

1 Wool (matching color), 1–2 Raw Mutton (Cooked Mutton if on fire)
