How to Make a Potion of Oozing
One of four new potions added in Java 1.21 (Tricky Trials). The Slime Block is crafted from 9 Slimeballs, which are dropped by Slimes in swamp biomes or slime chunks. Best used as a Splash Potion on mobs to create a Slime farm on death. Stacks with other mob-spawn-on-death effects.
Effect
Applies the Oozing effect: when the affected entity dies, two Slimes spawn at their location.

Upgrades
Cannot be extended with Redstone or amplified with Glowstone. Splash and Lingering variants are available via Gunpowder and Dragon's Breath respectively.
Brewing steps
- Fill a glass bottle.
- Brew with Nether Wart → Awkward Potion.
- Craft a Slime Block (9 Slimeballs in a crafting grid).
- Brew Awkward Potion with Slime Block → Potion of Oozing. Add Gunpowder for Splash variant; Dragon's Breath to Splash for Lingering variant.
