Minecraft Potions
All 20 brewable potions — pick one for its recipe, ingredients, duration and effect.
Instantly restores 4 hearts (8 HP) of health. Level II restores 8 hearts (16 HP) instantly.
Regenerates 1 HP every 2.5 seconds (Regeneration I). Level II regenerates 1 HP every 1.2 seconds.
Increases melee damage by +3 attack damage (1.5 hearts) per hit. Level II adds +6 damage (3 hearts) per hit.
Increases movement speed by 20% (Swiftness I) or 40% (Swiftness II). Also increases field of view.
Grants complete immunity to fire, lava, magma blocks, and blaze fireballs for the duration.
Makes all blocks appear at maximum brightness (light level 15), allowing full vision in darkness and underwater.
Renders the player completely invisible to other players and mobs. Mobs will still detect the player by sound and if the player wears armor (which remains visible).
Stops the oxygen bar from depleting underwater, allowing indefinite underwater breathing.
Increases jump height and reduces fall damage. Level I allows jumping ~1.5 blocks higher; Level II allows jumping ~2.5 blocks higher.
Reduces movement speed by 15% (Slowness I) or 60% (Slowness IV). Typically used as a Splash Potion against enemies.
Deals 6 HP (3 hearts) of instant damage. Level II deals 12 HP (6 hearts) of instant damage. Heals undead mobs instead.
Deals 1 HP every 1.25 seconds (Poison I) or every 0.6 seconds (Poison II). Cannot kill — stops at 1 HP.
Reduces melee damage dealt by 4 HP (2 hearts) per hit for the duration.
Greatly reduces falling speed and eliminates all fall damage for the duration. Also prevents trampling of farmland.
Simultaneously applies Slowness IV (60% speed reduction) and Resistance III (60% damage reduction). Level II applies Slowness VI (90% reduction) and Resistance IV (80% damage reduction).
Applies the Luck status effect, increasing the quality of loot from fishing, chests, and other loot tables (adds +1 to the luck attribute).
Applies the Oozing effect: when the affected entity dies, two Slimes spawn at their location.
Applies the Weaving effect: when the affected entity dies, 2–3 Cobwebs spawn at their location. Also allows the affected entity to move slightly faster through existing Cobwebs.
Applies the Wind Charged effect: when the affected entity dies, a Wind Burst is released that launches nearby entities upward with knockback.
Applies the Infested effect: each time the affected entity takes damage, there is a 10% chance that 1–2 Silverfish spawn at their location.
