How to Make a Potion of Slow Falling
Added in Java 1.13. Phantom Membrane is dropped by Phantoms, which spawn when a player hasn't slept for 3+ days. Excellent for navigating End islands, mountain biomes, or intentional high drops. Pairs well with Elytra.
Effect
Greatly reduces falling speed and eliminates all fall damage for the duration. Also prevents trampling of farmland.

Upgrades
Redstone → extended to 4:00. No Level II variant (falling speed is already minimal). Glowstone has no effect.
Brewing steps
- Fill a glass bottle.
- Brew with Nether Wart → Awkward Potion.
- Brew with Phantom Membrane → Potion of Slow Falling. Optional: Redstone for 4:
- Add Gunpowder for Splash; Dragon's Breath to Splash for Lingering.
