How to Make a Potion of Strength
Dramatically boosts melee output. At Strength II, each hit deals an additional 3 hearts of damage, making it a cornerstone of PvP and boss fights. Blaze Powder is obtained by crafting a Blaze Rod (also used to fuel the brewing stand).
Effect
Increases melee damage by +3 attack damage (1.5 hearts) per hit. Level II adds +6 damage (3 hearts) per hit.

Upgrades
Redstone → extended to 8:00. Glowstone → Strength II lasting 1:30 (+6 melee damage). Cannot combine both modifiers.
Brewing steps
- Fill a glass bottle from a water source.
- Brew Water Bottle with Nether Wart → Awkward Potion.
- Brew Awkward Potion with Blaze Powder → Potion of Strength. Optional: Add Redstone Dust for 8:00 or Glowstone Dust for Strength II (1:30). Add Gunpowder for Splash; Dragon's Breath to Splash for Lingering.
