How to Make a Potion of Wind Charging
One of four new potions added in Java 1.21 (Tricky Trials). Breeze Rods are dropped by the Breeze mob, a new hostile found exclusively in Trial Chambers. The Wind Burst on death deals knockback — ideal for trap builds, mob launchers, or disrupting enemy formations.
Effect
Applies the Wind Charged effect: when the affected entity dies, a Wind Burst is released that launches nearby entities upward with knockback.

Cannot be extended with Redstone or amplified with Glowstone. Splash and Lingering variants are available via Gunpowder and Dragon's Breath respectively.
Brewing steps
- Fill a glass bottle.
- Brew with Nether Wart → Awkward Potion.
- Obtain a Breeze Rod by defeating a Breeze in a Trial Chamber.
- Brew Awkward Potion with Breeze Rod → Potion of Wind Charging. Add Gunpowder for Splash variant; Dragon's Breath to Splash for Lingering variant.
