Pandas are rare neutral mobs found in jungle biomes that come in several personality variants including lazy, playful, worried, aggressive, and weak. They are among the rarer overworld mobs and require a bamboo jungle to breed successfully. Each personality type exhibits distinct animations and behaviors.

Spawns in
Jungle and bamboo jungle biomes; spawns in groups of 1–2 on grass blocks with at least 2 blocks of space above, light level 9 or higher; 5% chance to spawn as cubs
Behavior
Neutral; attacks players only once when hit (similar to llamas and bees), except on Peaceful difficulty where they are fully passive. Pandas follow players holding bamboo. Weak pandas and baby pandas sneeze occasionally, rarely dropping a Slimeball.
